PERSONAL
Prachi Tehlan was born on 2nd October 1989 in Delhi.
She started playing Basketball at the age of 12 when she was in class 8th in SACHDEVA PUBLIC SCHOOL. She was invited to MONTFORT and was given practice sessions by Mr. V.P Niroola(her school and national team coach) She also continued playing the game at Chattrasal Stadium under the guidance of Mr. Bijender Hooda.

COMMONWEALTH GAMES
After joining college, she got an opportunity to be a part of the Indian netball Team. She grabbed this opportunity with both hands as she believes that such opportunities are given to very few people so one should never let go of them. After only 3 years of playing Netball, she became captain of the Indian netball team in the Commonwealth Games 2010 at a very young age.
Her Netball journey began in 2007 when the game attracted her with its style and growing international standards. India being the host country, she got an opportunity to participate in the Commonwealth Games 2010. With a good shooting action and accuracy, her coach decided to work on her as a GS (goal shooter) and GA (goal attack). Now she is a well known netball shooter in INDIA.
